A
native of Texas, Tom studied architecture at the University of Texas
in Austin. After 2 years of naval service Tom returned to Dallas
and established his architectural practice.
A dozen years ago Tom moved to the Hill Country and in addition to
architecture started taking painting courses. With
the help of Bob Wygant, Margaret Kessler and others his eye for
detail was redirected to landscapes. Spending summers in New Mexico
Tom discovered galleries in Angel Fire and Santa Fe wanted his work.
Now living in the hills outside Fredericksburg, Tom enjoys his
horses, longhorn cattle, watching a beautiful sunset and painting.
His art is ever changing as he blends the landscape with early farm
structures in a harmony of color.
